Healthy Tawa Pizza


                                        Healthy Tawa Pizza

Healthy pizza?Sounds weird!!Yes but its true.As our kids love pizzas but we mothers always try to avoid this because its not a healthy option for them,but i have tried a little harder to make the pizza a healthy one.As summer holidays are going on and we can not deny our little ones.So here is a small treat for our kids- 

Ingredients -

  1. Pizza base - 1
  2. Mozzarella cheese shredded
  3. Onion medium sized - thin sliced(2)
  4. Soya granules - 1 cup (first boil the granules for 10 minutes and strain them with fresh water.
  5. Boiled american corns - 1 cup
  6. Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  7.  Salt as per taste
  8. Oregano flakes - 1 tsp
  9. Chili flakes
  10. Butter for roasting the base
For pizza sauce-
  1. 3 tomatoes
  2. Garlic -3 to 4 cloves
  3. Oil -1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar - 1 pinch
  5. Oregano flakes - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chilli flakes as per taste
  7. Salt as per taste


Method -
1st step-
  1. Take a wok add 1 tsp oil in it.
  2. Now add onions and little salt (1 onion)
  3. Saute them till it turns translucent in color.
  4. Keep aside.
  5. Your fried onions are ready.
2nd step-
  1. Now in the same wok add another onion and saute it ,now add granules in the onions .
  2. Now add boiled corns and stir it well.
  3. Then add salt,chili powder , oregano flake and tomato ketchup.
  4. Stir it well for 5 to 7 minutes and keep aside.
For pizza sauce-
  1. Take the tomatoes along with garlic cloves and grind them.
  2. Now take a wok add oil and add the paste in it.
  3. Now add sugar,salt,chili flakes and oregano flakes in the sauce.
  4. Stir it till it starts getting thick.
  5. Keep aside.
For pizza -
  1. Now take a tawa and add butter on it.
  2. Now put the base on the tawa and roast it.
  3. When the base starts turning golden flip it and roast on the other side.
  4. When the base turns little crispy ,close the flame and take off  the base from tawa.
  5. Now start layering .
  6. First take the pizza sauce and spread it on the base.
  7. Then spread your granules and corns on it.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top and lastly garnish it with your fried onions .
  9. Now put the Pizza in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes ( till the cheese starts melting)
  10. Sprinkle some oregano flakes also. 
  11. Enjoy your healthy pizza!!

Crispy Bites




                                                           Crispy Bites

A quick solution for an irresistible hunger ,is here known as Crispy Bites! These crispy bites are spicy as well as the buttery taste is going to balance the spiciness flavor.So lets start with the mouthwatering recipe-

Ingredients-For Hakka Noodles - 

  1. Hakka noodles packet - 1 pack
  2. 1 small sized onion (thin sliced )
  3. Chings noodle masala -1 pack
  4. Oregano for garnishing
  5. No need to add salt because this masala already contains salt.
  6. Bread slices
  7. Butter for frying

Method -
  1. Take a pan add water around 2 cups let it boil.
  2. Add noodles and boil them for at least 7 to 10 minutes.
  3. When it will start turning soft take the noodles out from the pan and strain it.
  4. Now wash the noodles with running water to remove the stickiness.
  5. Now strain the noodles and sprinkle 1/2 spoon oil in it.
  6. Keep it aside.
  7. After that take a pan add oil around 1 tsp add onions in it,stir it for 2 minutes.
  8. Add hakka noodles and add chings noodle masala , stir it very gently to avoid breaking of noodles .
  9. Your Hakka noodles are ready.
For bread -
  1. Take a tawa add butter on it.
  2. Put the bread slices on it.
  3. Roast it on slow flame ,so that they become crispy.
  4. Now cut the bread slices into your desired shape and spread some hakka noodles on the top , garnish it with oregano.
  5. Your crispy bites are ready.

Creamy Phirni

Phirni is creamy milk based sweet dish popular in North Indian cuisine and even in Pakistani cuisine. The method of preparation of phirni is quite easy and its presentation makes the dish quite palatable. Phirni recipe can be prepared with various common and exotic ingredients.So here is the recipe- 

Ingredients -

  1. Milk Full cream milk-(250 grams).
  2. Raw rice soaked in water for at least 3 hours.(Half cup).
  3. Green ilaichi  - 2 to 3 pieces.
  4. Sugar - 1 cup.
  5. Rose petals for garnish.

Method -
  1. Take a pan add  milk in it,Wait for a boil.
  2. Add green ilaichis ,crush it and add it in the milk.
  3. In the mean time ,take rice and grind them by adding little water.
  4. Add sugar in the boiling milk.
  5. Now add rice in to it.
  6. Stir it for at-least 20 minutes ,till it gets thick.
  7. When it starts getting thick ,let it cool properly.
  8. Pour it in kullads (Earthern pots)and put it in fridge for 2 to 3 hours.
  9. Now take it out and garnish it with rose petals.
  10.  Now serve it chilled!!

Granules Frankie

Granules Frankie is basically a kids tiffin recipe,which includes health with taste.As kids are fussy eaters and its really a hardest job for mothers to feed them healthy food with there choice of taste buds.So here is a solution for this common problem.

Ingredients -
For Frankie Dough-

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour - 2 cups
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Knead the dough and keep it in a container for 10 to 15 minutes in fridge.
For Filling 
  1. Soya granules - 1 cup(boiled)Boil the granules in water for 10 to 15 minutes and then strain it with fresh water and keep aside.
  2. Onion-1 medium sized(chopped)
  3. Tomatoes - 2 medium sized (chopped)
  4. Cottage cheese - 1/2 cup(crumbled)
  5. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Salt - as per taste
  7. Chili powder - as per taste
  8. Mango powder -  1 tsp 
  9. Coriander powder -  1 tsp
  10. Tomato ketchup - 2 tsp
  11. Fresh chopped coriander leaves.


Method -
  1. Take a wok add oil.
  2. Now add cumin seeds.
  3. Add onions and saute it till they get translucent.
  4. Now add tomatoes ,stir it till they get soft.
  5. Add salt,chili powder,coriander powder and mango powder in it.
  6. Now take the granules and add them in the masala.
  7. Stir it for few minutes.
  8. Now add crumbled paneer in it.
  9. Stir it till the masala gets little dry.
  10. Add tomato ketchup in the last and saute it.
  11. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves.
  12. Keep aside.
  13. For Frankie-
  14. Take the dough, take a ball as we make roti.
  15. Make a roti by sprinkling little oil on the roti.
  16. Now when the roti is done,Take the granules and spread the thick mix in the roti.
  17. Fold the frankie and serve with onions.
  18.  Enjoy!!

Paneer Butter Masala

Now you don't have to go to fancy restaurants and pay a huge amount for  vegetarians favorite   dish" paneer butter masala". This dish came out so well that my hubby said , that he will stop going out for having paneer now!!So here is the restaurant style recipe for all the paneer lovers.

Ingredients -

  1. Cottage cheese (paneer ) - 200 grams (cut it in thick cubes)
  2. Red tomatoes - 4 medium sized(diced)
  3. Onions - 2 medium sized(diced)and 1 thin sliced
  4. Green chilies - 2 to 3
  5. Garlic - 7 to 8 cloves
  6. Fresh coriander for garnishing
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Red chili powder - as per taste
  9. Turmeric powder - half tsp
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Mango powder - 1 tbsp
  12. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  13. Sugar - half tsp
  14. Yellow butter - 1 spoon
  15. Fresh cream or malai - 1 tbsp
  16. Milk - half cup

Method -
  1. Take a wok add oil around 1 tsp.Let it heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds.Wait for crackling sound.
  3. Now add onions along with garlic .
  4. Now stir it till they turn little pink in color.
  5. Now add Tomatoes and mix them.
  6. Add salt ,turmeric powder,sugar and chili powder.
  7. Now when add milk in it.
  8. When you will find the tomatoes are turning soft .Switch off the flame.
  9. Let the masala cools down completely.
  10. After that take a jar and grind the masala.(make a proper paste)
  11. Now in the same wok add half tsp oil again and take 1 onion (medium sized)and cut it in very thin slices and put this into the oil with green chilies.
  12. Stir it for 4 to 5 minutes and now add the gravy paste.
  13. Now in the gravy add mango powder , coriander powder and some more salt if needed.
  14. Now add butter and cream in the gravy.
  15. Mix well and add little water (not too much)I have take half cup only.
  16. Now when the gravy starts turning thick add paneer cubes in it.
  17. Lastly garnish it with fresh coriander.

Watermelon fruit is 91% Water, contains 6% sugar, and is low in Fat.
This is one of my favorite and hunger satisfactory fruit.So I have experimented with my cool fruit by making it coolest!!Enjoy your hot summers with coolest Watermelon Slush.

Ingredients -

  1. Watermelon - 1 big thick slice.
  2. lemon juice - 1 tsp.
  3. Black salt - 1 pinch.


Method -
  1. First take the watermelon de seed it. 
  2. Cut it into pieces.
  3. Now with the help of a blender ,blend it.
  4. Take a glass ,pour the watermelon pulp in it.
  5. Freeze it for 1 hour.
  6. Now take it out ,sprinkle some lemon juice on the top.
  7. Add some rock salt for enhancing the taste.
  8. Enjoy your hot summers with this coolest slush.

Mango Kalakand

One day i was craving for a sweet and as mangoes are in now days ,so made this mango kalakand .Making kalakand means loads of time consumption but this is quick and tastiest sweet i have ever tried. Kalakand is a popular pakistani and indian sweet made out of solidified, sweetened  milk and cottage cheese.The dish is originated in Alwar"Rajasthan.So here goes the recipe.

Ingredients-

  1. Mango pulp - 2 whole mangoes
  2. Cottage cheese - 175 grams (crumbled)
  3. Condensed milk - half tin (you can use as per your taste buds)
  4. Green Ilachi (cardomom)-3 to 4 pieces(crushed)
  5. Dry coconut strands for garnishing


Method -
  1. First take a wok add mango pulp in it.
  2. Stir it for 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Now add condensed milk in it and mix well on medium flame.
  4. Now add crumbled cottage cheese in the mixture.
  5. Stir the mix slowly for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. When you will find the mixture starts getting little dry and got mixed up properly ,switch off the flame.Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Now take a tray or a flat plate grease it with little oil and pour the mixture in the tray.
  8. Pat it with a flat spatula or spoon.
  9. Then take green ilaichi crush it and sprinkle in on the kalakand.
  10. Again with a flat spoon press it gently.
  11. Keep in fridge for 2 to 3 hours to get it set.
  12. Take it out after 2 hours and cut it into your desired shape and sprinkle coconut strands to garnish.
  13. Enjoy your healthy and tasty Mango Kalakand.

One day my mom - in -law came and she asked me to make something different and the very first thought came to my mind was to make something which is total unique and tasty also!! So tried to make "Rosti"!!
A potato dish originating from Switzerland that is traditionally made with boiled potatoes that are grated and fried. This dish can be made with either cooked or raw potatoes.

Ingredients 

  1. Raw potatoes - 2 big sized 
  2. Onions - 2 medium sized ( finely chopped)
  3. Oregano flakes - 1/2 tsp
  4. Chili flakes - (according to your taste)
  5. Salt as per your taste
  6. Mozzarella cheese - (half cup)(grated)
  7. Salted Butter - 25 to 30 grams




Method -

  1. Take the potatoes peel them and grate them with a grater.(Do not squeeze the water)
  2. Add chopped onions .
  3. Now add salt,oregano,chili flakes and mix it well.
  4. Now take a flat pan add butter on it.
  5. Spread the grated potatoes on the pan and press it gently now add more butter on the top and in the center of the rosti.
  6. Check it with the help of a knife that it should be properly cooked in little brown golden color.
  7. Then go for a flip.
  8. Add more butter if needed.
  9. With the help of a flat spatula press it gently again.
  10. When both the sides turns crispy ,then switch off the flame.
  11. Start the plating by spreading mozzarella cheese ,now fold it and cut it into pieces.
  12.  Enjoy your Swiss Dish at your place.

Whenever you feel hungry in the evening ,you can not opt for a heavy snack or heavy meal,so this is best option for your choti - choti - bhukh Bye-Bye!!These chunks are not even luscious but they are total healthy choice for your evening hunger!!Iam sure you gonna like this!!

Ingredients -

  1. Soya mini chunks - 1 cup (20 -25 pieces)(boil it first in hot water for 10-15 minutes by adding 1 tsp salt and then strain it Do not squeeze it more otherwise it will be very dry)
  2. Cornflour powder - 2 tsp
  3. Oil for frying
  4. Green capsicum - 1 whole piece(thin julienne)
  5. Onions - 2 medium sized (finely chopped)
  6. Garlic cloves - 6 to 7 cloves (finely chopped)
  7. Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
  8. Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  9. Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  12. Fresh coriander for garnishing

Method - 
  1. Firstly put the boiled  soya chunks in a bowl and add cornflour and mix it well.
  2. Take a wok add oil ,heat it.
  3. Add soya nuggets in the oil in small batches.
  4. Now take them out.
  5. In the same wok add onions and garlic in it.Stir them for 2 minutes not more than that.
  6. Add capsicum,Soya sauce,ketchup,salt,chili powder,vinegar and give a quick stir.
  7. Then lastly add soya chunks in it.Mix it well.
  8. Start the plating by sprinkling fresh coriander.
  9. Enjoy!!

Summers are on its peak!and in this sticky hot weather we normally avoid taking chapatis or any kind of heavy meal,so here is a solution for all of you who needs quick energy in one go!!Choco Banana Shake an Energy Booster!!

Ingredients -

  1. 1 cup of milk
  2. 2 tbsp sugar
  3. 2 bananas
  4. 1 chocolate bar (I have used dairy milk)
  5. 2 choco sticks
Method -
  1. Take a jar add bananas ,milk and sugar in it.
  2. Go for a whisk in a mixie.
  3. Now take chocolate crush it by using a roller .
  4. Then take a glass put the crushed chocolate in the glass and then pour the banana shake on it.
  5. Then take some choco sticks crush them and sprinkle it on the top.
  6. Enjoy your quickest energy booster.

Gulkand Paan Pannacotta



A contest winning Recipe is here!!Gulkand Pannacotta.Earlier I have made paan pannacotta by including paan leaves,but this time i have used Gulkand and this is much tastier than paan pannacotta😊😊


Gulkand   pannacotta (Italian cooked cream') is an Italian dessert of sweetened cream thickened with gelatin and molded .But i have tried to give this dessert an Indian taste but I haven't added gelatin i have added agar agar,I am sure you would gonna love this!!

Ingredients - 1 cup milk
                               
100 grams fresh cream
 Half cup castor sugar    For flavor-1 betel leaf(paan  ka  patta)
 1 tsp paan masala (You can Get it wet one masala also from paan shop)
2 tsp Gulkand
1/2 agar agar        
For garnishing - few strands of saffron , colored saunf (fennel seeds),Colored  balls,gulkand and colored dry coconut strands  


                         
       
Method - Take a pan add cream in it and wait for a boil.Then add milk.Now take agar agar powder and mix it in sugar and add it in the cream milk.

 In the mean time take the  betel leaf, paan masala ,gulkand and grind them.Now
add this in boiling milk and cream .switch off the flame when the mixture starts turning little thick. Let it cool for few minutes.Now the moulds .Grease them with little oil and pour the mix into it and refrigerate it for 4 to 5  hours.
After it sets down.Start Demoulding it and  garnish it with things referred above.
