Granules Frankie
Granules Frankie is basically a kids tiffin recipe,which includes health with taste.As kids are fussy eaters and its really a hardest job for mothers to feed them healthy food with there choice of taste buds.So here is a solution for this common problem.
Ingredients -
For Frankie Dough-
- Maida - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Salt as per taste
- Knead the dough and keep it in a container for 10 to 15 minutes in fridge.
For Filling
- Soya granules - 1 cup(boiled)Boil the granules in water for 10 to 15 minutes and then strain it with fresh water and keep aside.
- Onion-1 medium sized(chopped)
- Tomatoes - 2 medium sized (chopped)
- Cottage cheese - 1/2 cup(crumbled)
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Chili powder - as per taste
- Mango powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Tomato ketchup - 2 tsp
- Fresh chopped coriander leaves.
Method -
- Take a wok add oil.
- Now add cumin seeds.
- Add onions and saute it till they get translucent.
- Now add tomatoes ,stir it till they get soft.
- Add salt,chili powder,coriander powder and mango powder in it.
- Now take the granules and add them in the masala.
- Stir it for few minutes.
- Now add crumbled paneer in it.
- Stir it till the masala gets little dry.
- Add tomato ketchup in the last and saute it.
- Lastly add chopped coriander leaves.
- Keep aside.
- For Frankie-
- Take the dough, take a ball as we make roti.
- Make a roti by sprinkling little oil on the roti.
- Now when the roti is done,Take the granules and spread the thick mix in the roti.
- Fold the frankie and serve with onions.
