So lets start with the recipe of Malai - Do -Pyaza
Ingredients-
1.Onions - 7 to 10 (i have used button onions)You can use normal ones .If you are using medium sized onions,then take 4 to 5 onions.
2. Green chilies - 3 to 4 (optional)
3.Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves (crush it or cut it in very fine pieces)
4.Fresh Cream or malai - 2 tbsp
5.Salt as per your taste.
6.Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
7.Dry mango powder - 1 tsp (add more if you like it tangy if you do not have a sour taste ,than put in less quantity)
8.Coriander powder -1 tsp and Cumin seeds-1 tsp
9.Turmeric powder - 2 pinches
10. Garam Masala - less than 1/2 tsp
Method-
1.Firstly take onions,peel it and wash them.
2.Now cut the onions in two halves and separate the pieces of the onions.
3.Now take a wok add oil around 1 tbsp. Heat it up and add cumin seeds and garlic pieces.Fry them for around 1 minute.
4.Now add the onions and green chilies.
5.Fry them also for around 2 minutes.
6.Time to add salt,turmeric powder,red chili powder and mix it well.
7.Now take the malai and add it in the onions.
8.Mix it properly.
9.Now add coriander powder,dry mango powder and garam masala.
10.Stir it continuously on slow flame ,till the malai starts leaving its oil and spices.
11.Switch off the flame .
12.Your Malai -do -pyaza is ready to enjoy.
